Upcoming Features

The following table lists new features that will be available in the upcoming release, along with a brief explanation, where applicable:

Performance and stability improvements	The upcoming release will include improvements in host-device DMA and video pipeline performance.

The following table lists features that will be deprecated in the upcoming release, along with a brief explanation, where applicable:

Device native 2D processing	Features such as overlay, rotate, crop, padding, ... will be removed. (This excludes the 2D scaler, which will remain.)
